We are happy to announce a new record was set in both event attendance and money raised at the 2013 Victory Over Epilepsy Gala. Attendance increased by 50% and we raised over $32,000 for our education and advocacy programs.
Thank you to the many wonderful people who made this event successful. A special thanks to the committee who worked for months to plan this event. The 2013 V.E. Gala committee members are Judy Wright, Susan Ramza, Vic Davis, Laurel Carr, Debbie Davis, Lindsey Serrano, Danielle Walk and Joyce Angelos Walsh.
We would like to acknowledge the wonderful work of Joyce Angelos Walsh and Susie Burns. Joyce is a Certified Specialist of Wine who developed the menu and wine pairings and presented during the meal. Susie and her staff at the Carriage club worked closely with us to plan and run the gala smoothly.
We are thankful for the many volunteers that helped run the event. From registration to the raffle to the wine pouring, our event would not have been possible without the volunteers graciously donating their time. Thanks especially to Vic Davis for presiding over our live auction again.
